Why can I not find a 36 inch flat screen tv?

We are looking for a flat screen tv to fit our entertainment center, it holds up to a 36 inch. Why do tvs go from 32 to 37 with no in between? So we will have a big gap between the top of the center and the tv.

Remember that you also need about 1 inch of clearance all around so that air circulates and you don't fry your TV. So, 32" should be just right.

Careful on the cheapest - mine died at almost 13 months old and they do NOT have repair parts for it (and the warranty was just for 1 year (12 months). Cheap can be VERY expensive. Make sure about the retailers return & coverage, sears does not cover well ! Repair, a much bigger $$ issue than people realize !
