I was given one of these televisions from Morrisons's on Sunday. Everything is great apart from today when I have tried using the built in DVD player for the first time. At first it worked fine, but I have tried to use it again and when I change the input to DVD a message comes up on the screen saying "no signal". I have tried switching the tv off and on and have looked in the instruction manual but can't find an answer. I have also tried pressing every button on the remote control and the buttons on the side of the tv, but nothing happens and now I have a DVD stuck in the player which won't eject. Can anyone help? If not I guess I'll just have to return it.

Return it and get your money back.

1) All TV / DVD combinations are hideously unreliable, no matter who makes them.

2) Neon isn't a brand. It's just a label that Morrisons stick on a range of poorly made, unreliable junk, made by companies in China that you or I will never have heard of. All the supermarkets do this - different names, same lousy quality.

Double whammy..

Pressing input and selecting DVD the TV looks for an external DVD player connected via scart,so because there isn't one the message"No Signal" appears.

See if there a "Source" function on the remote control and press it if there is and select DVD then OK.

If not turn the TV off then on,then press play.If the DVD plays press stop twice, wait then press eject once.

There is no such thing as a "good" TV with a built-in DVD player. They are all without exception, unreliable. Additionally, as that type of combo is only made by the cheap 'n' nasty manufacturers, their reliability is actually, appalling.
