How do i get back my freeview channels on my TV?

Question

I have freeveiw and a few weeks ago freeveiw was asking me about you need to do somin and press yellow to read on more on how to keep your channels bla bla bla...

Anyways i didn't do that so now the message is gone and when i go on any bbc channels or anything it justs says no signal

so how can i get back my channels

plz help i wanna watch tv lol =P

You just need to rescan . They had to change the frequencies after they switched off the old analogue signals . this is to be able to fit all the channels in ( including HD) without clashing with channels of other areas. The good news is that the power will be increased after april13 giving better reception. The bad news is you will also need to rescan on that day too!

You need to retune your tv. In the menue there should be an instaull option, select this and select scan for channels, or factory reset, takes a few minuits. Its not the same on all tv's, look at the tv manual. Also make shure the aerial is ok. this also gives message " no signal " .

Unplug the television. look ahead to ninety seconds, then plug the television back into the means socket. the television will bypass back to 'set-up' mode, if it does not, press Menu on the distant and seem for Channel Set-up. this could enable the equipment to hunt for the available channels. The ariel could be broken and/or water/ice has entered the ariel container. Unplug the ariel lead and spot if it feels moist, as water will many times bypass down the cable and injury the television. If the cable is dry, then the ariel has moved from that is alignment and no longer able to acquire the narrow digital sign. no remember if that is not any longer receiving any channels, then the ariel has moved drastically or your section no longer has an Analog sign, which will in simple terms demonstrate a blue demonstrate screen.
