Are there any HD channels on UK Freeview? If so how do I get them? (I've got a full HD tele!)?

You need to get Freesat installed. It is free but you may have to pay an initial installation charge (you will require a seperate dish & box for the HD transmission).
Some top-end TV's come bundled with Freesat (i.e. Panasonic Viera's).
All freeview transmissions are in SD format (usually around 576i), whereas with Freesat you get HD (720p+). Might be worth investing in a decent surround-sound system as the sound quality is also superior :)
Check sources for more info, or simply walk into your nearest Dixon's/Curry's.

Not on Freeview, no. Freeview HD, if it ever happens, won't exist until after analogue is switched off in 2012, because there just isn't any space on the airwaves for it at the moment.
You can however get free HD channels via a Freesat HD receiver, which receives free TV signals through a satellite dish like Sky, rather than an aerial like Freeview.

No, there are no HD channels on Freeview at all.
They were due to start broadcasting HD on Freeview in May 2008, but that date has constantly been put back and is currently "towards the end of 2009". However, with the advent of Freesat, Freeview may never broadcast HD channels.
You will need to get Freesat, cable or satellite to watch HD programmes.

Not yet.
Freeview HD launch will start in regions as switchover progresses.
The first places to get it are those served by Winter Hill transmitter (Granada ITV region) on Dec 2nd
If you aren't close to switchover or can't wait you will need to go for Freesat HD
NOTE: Current Freeview SD transmissions are actually 576i

you may not make any style of such simplisitic fact. The sensitivity of a freeview adapter relies upon on the a number of chipsets used to construct and and distinctive different info of the progression, not something so easy as what style of enclosure it is in. In any experience, interior a computer is definitely an exceedingly antagonistic place for a radio receiverf of any style whilst there is plenty interference interior the case: an inner card is hence battling with one hand tied at the back of its decrease back in the previous you even initiate. rather of attempting to make a accepted rule the place none exists you should examine comments of adapters that explciitly conceal sensitivity, or evaluate setting up a booster someplace between your aerial and the adapter.

BBC1 and ITV but they rarely seem to transmit. I usually watch Jonathon Ross on Friday nights on HD!
