Question:
Where can I get a new plasma panel for a Samsung PN42C450 TV?

I have a Samsung PN42C450 plasma TV, 3 months old. There is a large crack across the screen. The TV still turns on but the display no longer works due to the crack. I've taken it apart and I know how to remove the plasma panel so I can put a replacement one in. I've looked all over online and I can't find one.

I found a plasma panel for a different Samsung TV which costs $130 (way better than buying a whole new TV).

My brother has a Samsung PN42C430 (looks exactly the same as my TV except my TV has a VGA port). If the two TVs are similar, would it be possible to purchase a replacement panel for the PN42C430 TV?

The replacement panel would cost as much or more than a new TV.

Sometimes these are in commercial installations where the budget allows things to be repaired but not replaced.

$572 for panel

New Tv $420
