I have the DTV box, an apartment antenna, a DVD player with an antenna input and AV inputs, and a little box that i was told could convert signal from antenna cables through AV jacks. I have tried connecting all of them and nothing seems to work. Also, i have a Maxent L2614XW02L, which for some reason will not let me change the channels. Help.

HMMM...

Pull out your LCD manual and look for ATSC.

If the TV has an ATSC tuner, you can just plug the antenna in to that.

Otherwise plug the antenna in to the DTV box and THAT into the television through HDMI or component.

Keep in mind that indoor antennas work poorly for almost everyone. If you can get any channels at all, consider yourself fortunate. Assuming you can......

1. Connect the antenna to the input of the converter.

2. Connect the yellow-red-white output of the converter to the same input on the TV. Note its label on the back panel, like "AV 1" or "VID 1."

3. Use the TV's remote to select that input (see #2).

4. Follow the setup instructions for the converter in its manual.

5. Use the converter remote to change channels on the converter. You don't change anything on the TV.

The DVD player can connect to an alternate input, as in #2 above.

i'm assuming which you would be able to swap between the television coax enter and rwy enter with the distant. Do you have photograph in a photograph? Plug the antenna coax into the DTV. Plug the DTV coax into the television. do no longer forget approximately to do a test. now you are able to watch antenna television on the main television enter. Plug the DVD purple/white/yellow into the the television purple/white/yellow. now you are able to watch the DVD on the secondary television enter. you will might desire to swap between significant and secondary such as your controller. Plug the headphone to audio cable into the the television headphone jack and then into the Stero equipment purple/white. this might get you television sound from the stereo. that's no longer the suited thank you to do it yet until you have a stereo output on the returned of your television that's going to might desire to be performed this way. you will might desire to apply the two the television quantity and stereo quantity.
