I have a Panasonic TCP42-S1 hooked up to a Bell Expressvu HD box. Since we've hooked it up, it cuts off the image in both 4:3 and 16:9. The TV is set to full and when I contacted Panasonic, they told me that it was a problem with the satellite box. It looks as though the TV is zoomed in, but I can't find any settings for this. If you know how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks

Get into box menu if it has one, and choose 16 by 9 or widescreen. Then confirm your TV is not set to zoom, fill, or any other mode that zooms in and cuts of the image.

You'll know that the setting is correct when standard def TV has black bars on the left and right. HD sitcoms will fill the screen. Movies like iRobot, Star trek 2009, transformers will have black bars top and bottom. A pixar movie like "UP" is another aspect ratio, it will fill the screen. Confirm that you are using a connection that supports a HD widescreen signal. For cable boxes connecting to TVs, the only two that support HD are component (three colors) and HDMI. composite and s-video will not work. If anything I've mentioned is not as I've stated, a setting is wrong on the box, the TV or both.
