I have just bought a Sony46" LED 3D tv. Now how do l connect it to my Sky HD+ box using either the HDMI cable or scart cable? I have tried connecting with the scart cable but there is no signal from the box. Ican get picture if I connect my outside aerial direct to TV but none from the box. Can someone help please?

Use a HDMI lead, then you need to find the correct source. On my Sony remote, this is accessed by pressing the button at the very top right hand edge, with a screen symol and arrow going into it.

From your T/v set connect a scart plug to your sky box, must be good quality scart cable with gold

fittings.connect the cables from your dish to the back of your sky box the two sockets are close together .fit the aerial to the back of the T/V set ensure that the free view in built system is programmed

Your system is almost ready to use the last item to be programmed is the hand remote control,

make sure you have the right number set in to it for your t/v to recognise your hand set.....if you feel

that you are not able to do this get a t/v engineer to come and set it up should not cost too much...

You would normally connect with a HDMI lead if you want HD pictures. When you say you can get a picture from the aerial to the TV but not from the box I assume you have the box connected to it's own minidish?

With an HDMI cable, it should be simple enough.
