I have SONY tv and i just got dish network on it and it keeps saying no signal. I have tried unplugging all of the cables leading to the tv and then plugged them back in. I have tried making sure all off the things were tightly screwed in. Last I have tried unplugging the dish plug-in. But yet it still says no signal. The tv in my other room works just fine though.

Hello Kristen! My name is Becki, with DISH Network. It sounds like you are having an issue with getting the picture on your screen. Follow these steps to get it going again!

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.

If you are using an HDMI cable, then the TV will need to be on an HDMI input

If you are using Component cables, your TV will need to be on a component input. (Usually Comp 1 or 2)

If you are using RCA cables, then the TV will need to be on a VIDEO input (Usually Video 1 or 2)

If you are using COAX cables, then the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4

Please let me know if you have any issues!!

I have Dish but don't see how you can even if you work there because if you split it off of the receiver you will have to watch whatever the receiver is on how else are you going to change the channels, you can't even tape a show on one channel and watch something else on another channel, the TV has to be on the channel your taping so you can't change the channel to watch something else, that's one advantage to cable if you don't have a box you can split as much as you want, been there done that, the deal when I got mine was two receivers for the price of one.........
