Go to menu, setting, and reset all settings. If that doesnt work, check your device hook up and the cables. if the tv doesn' t see that there is any input it would go into a "power saving" mode. Sometimes a bad cables can cause intermittent problems like this. Try swaping out cables to different inputs and different devices.

Yes, sometimes the feelings you described can be attributed to "sleep paralysis." The problem is that a malevolent spirit may use this physical phenomenon called "sleep paralysis" to take advantage of a person. The fearful energy that a human exudes when in the grip of a paralytic attack feeds the spirit, apparently, giving it the energy it needs for sustenance and, in some cases, to manifest itself. I have had this happen to me and the only thing that made the spirit leave almost immediately was when I recited the last words to the Lord's Prayer, "for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, now and forever and ever." As for the noises and other strange goings on in your house, it does seem as though you have a spirit or two stirring up some mischief in your house. I can't tell you what to do about that problem, but I'm sure you'll get some good advice here or elsewhere on the internet. For that matter, watch Paranormal State. Even though many people believe much of the show is staged and contrived, you might be able to get some ideas on how to remove a ghost or ghosts from a dwelling.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!
1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.
2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.
The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.
After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net
Ohhh..and Good Luck!

I've been having the same issue with a Westinghouse 30" HDTV. I'll be watching a movie or playing a game, and then the thing will just die, cycling the power and even unplugging it does nothing, though it will turn back on after awhile, It used to turn back on after ten seconds, but now it turns off for days on end with no way to turn it back on again

Turn Off the auto sleep mode, u can either set a min. time limit for monitor to enter sleep mode, or u can turn OFF the auto sleep mode completely.
