If you have a very short run, there really shouldn't be any difference in quality among HDMI cables. The signal is a digital signal and so doesn't really degrade. There is no error correction in the HDMI/DVI signals so on longer runs of cable, noise can creep in as well as signal reflections and start corrupting the bits. Or so I read awhile back.
I have a "cheap" $19.95 cable I bought over the internet versus a premium brand cable. It still looks better than the composite video cables and there is no degradation. If there was, it would appear as corrupted blocks of pixels on the screen and I've not seen any.

If your using HDMI connections then there is not major difference in the quality of cables. Obviously you have the more expensive with the "Gold Connections" and are "Oxygen Free" but to be honhest like the guy b4 said the £19.95 ones do the same job as apposed to the £70 ones
