how do you connect cable to tv without cable outlet (our outlet is broken)?

the outlet that attaches the cable wire to the tv was ripped off - possibly by the satellite installation technician. is there any way to re-connect the cable wire to the tv without having to use this outlet?

If you have the two little screws where you screw on antenna wires, then they make an adaptor from that to a cable. You can probably get one at Wal Mart. If not there, Radio Shack should have it.

you buy a splitter and have the cable going from your outlet behond the couch, going to the input on the splitter. then from the tv out go to the box where your tv is now. then one going to the new locatoin. cosmetically it is best to drill holes but have seen cable just ran to the next room inside out of the way.. hope it helps.
