Panasonic HDTV Help!?

I bought a 32" Panasonic HDTV off a guy from craigslist bout 2 months ago. It was working great up until today when I tried turning it on, and it didnt. I moved it upstairs last night, plugged it in and it worked fine, but this morning I went to turn it on, and I heard it trying to work, but then it like, clicked 4 times.. and the red light on the TV started blinking 5 times, then repeats with no picture. The only way I can turn it off is when I unplug it, and plug it back in since I cant turn it off with the power button. I have no remote, or no manual. Is there anyway to reset the TV? Or is there something that I need to buy, or someone to call? Please help!

Sounds like it's just the Power Supply board!

Get the model and serial numbers from the back of the TV. Should be located near where the inputs go in. Then contact Panasonic or a local repair shop. The repair bill should be in the area of a couple hundred bucks!

However...it would be cheaper to replace the board yourself if you think you can handle it! Simply search sites like ebay for your model TV and see if any PSB's come up. You may also be able to purchase one from Panasonic. Replacing the board only requires a little technical know-how. Take the back off of the TV...remove old board by unplugging any wire harnesses attached to it and removing the screws holding it down...install new board.

For example: here is a PSB for Panasonic's 32" LCD TV(TC-L32X1)

sounds like the lamp inside blew. I have the same red light on my Sony. You have to replace it, which is normally a little more than $100 or so, depending on the model.

I suggest googling 'Panasonic Lamp Replacement' or what i did for my Sony was i went to PriceGrabber.com and they can compare websites that carry the lamp.

Hope this helps!
