use one of those Swiffer duster things...they are great. You can't use any chemicals on those screens, which is why you can't spray it with Windex or something.

Do you want to clean only the outside or the inside too? The inside can get dusty enough to make it look like your colors are fading. Check over your screen real carefully it should flip down to allow you to clean the inside or some unscrew from the back. The screens are usually made out of a plastic material so do a little dusting with a swiffer and selectively wash off any stubborn spots and wipe dry with a soft cloth. If the front side is glass it's only for screen protection. There's plastic behind it. Make sure the whole surface is uniformally clean. Radio Shack probably has a cleaner you can use all over the screen inside side and out.

I was told I can use windex just not to spray it on the tv. Put it on the rag first. I chose to use warm water with just a dab of soap. I use a very soft cloth or even a sock and wring it out very well. No drips, barely even wet. I have a 65" HD Mitsubishi rear projection and this works good for me. I had a 60" Hitachi that I had for 5 years that I used windex on with no problem.

For CRT TV

remove the dust from the screen. and wipe the screen with a glass cleaner.

For LCD TV

remove the dust from the screen. Clean the screen with damp cloth. And wipe again with a dried tissue.

Our T.V. repairman told us to use a damp cloth only, never use cleansers. I start at the top and go all the way across, all the way down from let to right. If I come across a really dirty spot I give it a" little" elbow grease. Make sure not to use a wet cloth! Then gently dry with another soft cloth.

i'm hoping you get this answer in time... I surely have got here across that applying the vacuum hose with the comb attachment works super. Then take a duster and dismiss something. that's the #one million thank you to scrub your television of the airborne dirt and mud. that's what I do for my huge demonstrate. easily do no longer spay something directly to the television. in case you experience you are able to polish any area of the television spray on a paper-towel first. in any different case small holes might desire to get clogged. And while the airborne dirt and mud settles someplace else you are able to attack that. i'm hoping this helped you and want i might desire to have helped you faster. happy Dusting!- Lauren

take a toilet bowl cleaner brush with some Colgate toothpaste. tartar control works best. and if that doesnt work good enough then try using Dr.Wham soda.but always shake the can well before opening
