Is there a cheap online tv source to watch live tv?

Question

I've seen Hulu.com which is nice, but I'm wondering if there is anything like cable or satellite tv online. Also, something like that, that can be put onto a tv from a computer. I'm not objecting to paying, but my bill is just so high that I was looking for cheaper alternatives if they exist. I'd like something like comcast, but cheaper. Thanks

The answer to what you are looking for is available, and potentially cheaper; however, it will take a large chunk of cash to get you started. You have several options, two of which I will explain now. As you may know, Computer TV is the latest fad to sweep America following the dreadful 3-D craze; therefore, there are several options for somebody looking for more accessible television. One is Apple TV, which costs 100 dollars and is in the form of a very small box that you attach to your TV. From here, you can watch Hulu, Netflix, Youtube, and many other video services once you purchase the necessary subscriptions. You're other option is to purchase Google TV when it becomes available if it is not already, and from there you can have your internet merged with your TV. For example, if you type Lost into the Google search bar, it will search the internet, Netflix, Hulu, your DVR recordings and the upcoming and currently playing TV shows o from your satellite or cable TV provider. Unfortunately, neither of these provide LIVE streaming TV, as this is not available to my knowledge. I felt it was best to give you alternatives; however, chances are that you will not find what you are looking for. Personally, I recommend Netflix. For 9 dollars a month, you can have access to so many seasons of TV shows and movies that it will no longer matter whether the shows are live because of the sheer quantity. I am currently watching seasons one through four of my favorite TV show, Psych, as Netflix has every season with the exception of the one that just ended less than a month ago available on instant play. I'm sorry that I couldn't answer your question, but I hope that one of these options will work for you.
