Can a cracked Plasma tv be repaired?

My daughter hit my Samsung Plasma TV which left a star-crack on the glass. TV won't turn on anymore. Any way to repair it? I know it might be more economical to get a new TV since the plasma panel is the most expensive part on the TV but what if I can find the same model TV with a good panel?

U can get it. Repaired it will cost around R1500

Pretty expensive repair... I would consider a new TV.... Even warranties do not cover cracked screens.! Too bad, since Samsung is top quality brand along with Panasonic for plasma..

You can repair it at a tv repair store it's just hard to find one and it cost just about the same to get a new one.
