I really hope someone can help as this problem is really beginning to bug the hell outta me!!
Ok, so Ive got my Nintendo Wii set up on my living room tv and have to change the tv channel to AV scart 2 whenever I want to play on it, then back to AV scart 1 when I want to watch the TV. However when I'm in the middle of playing on my Wii the av channel keeps switching back to the TV channel on its own!! I've checked that the scart leads are not loose and even changed them for new ones but its still happening. It happens when I have my DVD player plugged in too so I'm interrupted when watching films too. What puzzles me is that it doesnt happen EVERY time I use the wii or DVD player but it happens more often than not. Someone please help me!!

There also maybe a signal leak from the AV1 source

Whatever is plugged into AV1 ( Freeview box, Sky box, Cable box ) switch it off at the wall or put it in standby and see if it still happens

Checking the scart leads was a good idea.

I would suggest that you try switching to standby any equipment connected to AV1 directly or via other equipment.

If this fails try removing the scart from AV1 and see if the problem remains if it does you probably have a faulty tv.

I have known similar problems on faulty Philips tvs.

It may be auto-switching the video because it is sensing video from the other device. I have never heard of this happening, so I doubt it - it's a high-end feature.

I'd suggest getting a new TV or taking it in for service, something is going on with it.

someplace on the television set (could be under a flap) there will be buttons with (probable) little up/down arrowheads or + - symbols by capacity of them. it incredibly is the instruction manual tuning facility that television tube's have in the journey that your distant breaks. you purely press them to scroll up or down your channels. the two the buttons themselves or different ones close by will help you get right of entry to the AV inputs.
