Internet software upgrade issues with Sharp Aquos LC-60LE831U?

I've been watching netflix through the built in wifi on my Sharp Aquos tv for months now but when we went to turn it on this morning it says" a software update file is available online. We cannot start netflix unless software updates. Proceed to update menu?" I click yes and it starts to download the latest software and goes for about 20 minutes before it stops and says "download failed" It has done this numerous times this morning. Any ideas on why it's doing this? What should I do about this? Is this a problem with the TV, netflix, or my wifi ?( all other wifi devices in my home are working just fine so I doubt its the wifi) Any help would be great.

don't know if this helps or not, but....I just bought my tv two days ago. Couldn't connect to Netflix. Called them and they said it was a problem with an update from Sharp. Called Sharp and they said they were having a problem with this and hoped to have it resolved soon. I got an update yesterday morning and everything seemed to be working fine. Then this morning I experienced this "update failed" situation. I suspect they are still having problems and are working on it.

Hi, I have been searching the net today because I have the same issue. It updates to about 25% at the most then says update failed. I'm looking online for the software to save to usb drive. Then I should be able to install in the computer via usb. Maybe something is wrong with their server if we are having the same problem. I have a 60" Sharp Aquos 60LE632U.



My VUDU and Blockbuster apps work fine. But it wont update the software.



If you find anything let me know. I will do the same.

Mine is doing the same thing too. bought the unit yesterday. worked fine yesterday. came home from work tried to watch netflix and said that i needed to update. over the last 3 hours, no luck in downloading. i then googled the update number and downloaded it to a thumbdrive. unfortunately, this particular update doesn't work with this model...in fact, that's the TV said when I tried to update it from the USB thumb drive.

Funny thing I downloaded the update yesterday after 10 try's and today it is telling me I need to update and it is doing the same thing as everyone else it fails to download if anyone knows what to do please post a solution.

Mine's doing the same thing, failed updates and general BS.

I tried calling them but its past their service hours soo no luck finding any real info from them.
