Anybody else with these problems?
I've had the AT&T uverse cable Tv and internet service for 2 months. I have continous problems.
1) cable channels 2-60 (local channels) go out a on random channel. Example 2 or 4 out for a while or freeze.
2) watching TV the show freezes on the tv like a still picture.
3) After 11:00 pm loose total service frequently at least 2-3 times a week
4) Loud sharp noise burst over speakers at least twice a day.
5) Some kinda problem daily. When i call they trouble shoot the router and reconfigure. They say the area "North Texas" is experiencing a problem. There is a problem in your city.
I've never seen continous problems like this. The customer service say its been around for a year and it's new and they do updates. I asked if they monitor anything and was told they react to customers calling in. They provide credits for lost service. Doesn't anybody "Government" monitor this type businesses for lack of service.

NOPE....No government intervention....

So are you fiber optic or plain old Copper lines?

I'll bet it's your NODE....have you talked to LOCAL neighbors to see if they have it also? Then it's your node if they say yes.

If you have a copper based system you may have a broken wire....

ARE YOU actually doing the troubleshooting for them?

Or is the AREA that widespread that they are continually saying "The North Texas area is experiencing a problem"?

Verizon wouldn't let this happen, they'd be on it like "Stink on Sh=t"

Personally I'd tell them to discontinue service until they get it fixed....Then go with a satellite

Anyone else have similar Problems? I'd ask the question a different way, does anyone out there have Uverse that works. My latest bandwidth reading is 331 kbps, yes that is K bps and I have a slide show on my hd tv. THis is a system that might work some day but it is not ready at all for customers. They ought to be paying us to test this for them. If you are thinking about getting it, stop thinking about it. Unless of course you like dial up and slide shows on your hdtv
