Hello. I am planning to get a new tv so I can mount it on a wall and use it, mainly for ps3 games, though I do also hope to use it for movies.

My question is, is 22 inches big enough? I plan to mount it directly in front of my bed and from the edge of the bed to the mountable wall, there is roughly about 30cm of space. Is it enough? Or shall I look into getting a bigger size (Though I DO have a limited budget).

I'm asking because I don't want to buy it and realize It's small.

Thanks for any input. :D If you need more info, I'll add in details. Thank you!

You want to go 32". 22" is too small, you'll get pissed about it. You want to game and want to watch fast action movies, you need a display that has a descent response time. Samsung displays have a descent response time. Your buying an led tv and blur, lag and ghosting are the issues you're trying to minimize. The samsung 32" 4003 model is getting pretty good reviews as a budget conscious display with good performance. Hookup everything you can with hdmi. This will help. Bestbuy $269 but bestbuy has their new price match policy so if you can find it cheaper they will match it. Good luck and don't jump too fast. Take the time and get the dough together and get the right display. You'll be happier each time you view your new tv.

Are you kidding?

A 32" TV is standard size if the TV is mounted at the foot of the bed. When you go to bedding stores that have beds that have been designed to have a TV fitted at the end of the bed they have fittings or enclosures that are made for 32" TV's.

In your case the position of the TV will further back still.

If you can get a 32" TV as you will be end up being frustrated and the affect will be disappointing.

What is your budget?

It depends on how far way your eyes will be from the telly. If you only have 30cm then 22" is more than big enough. Any bigger and you risk eye strain and headache.

A 22" set will be good for gaming up to about 1.5 metres, and up to 2.5metres for tv programmes unless you're really fussy.

There is a point for me where console gaming is too small and that is at 22", you'll be much safer getting something 30" or more, my 32" TV is perfect for bedroom gaming and would never go back to my old 23.6" (strange number I know :) )
Genius.

Have a think about it, i have a 13 inch computer screen, and 22 inch is really OK if your relatively close to the TV, if you far away it can be small. I can really say how big , i looked up this photo on google images
