Any Zenith from 1994-1999. The CRTs were absolutely horrible. Few survive today. After 1999 Zenith was sold out to LG and they started using Philips CRTs which were better. Additionally many TVs built between 2004-2009 have quality issues. LCD TVs were expensive so manufacturers tried to reduce costs by using cheap crap ICs and capacitors. CRT TVs were still available but everyone knew they were heading towards obsolete status at this time so manufacturers didn t care about quality. Samsung TVs were at their worst in terms of quality around 2008. These TVs caused a class action lawsuit over the high failure rate. Thankfully prices have dropped and quality has marginally improved on TVs today.
