Still Having A Problem With A Scrambled Channel on an HDTV?

I've asked this question before, but I would like more input...

For Christmas I received a 37" Samsung LCD HDTV. I'm an avid TCM viewer, and was very pleased to finally have the channel working in my room. It worked for several months, from Christmas to early March. However, It stopped working. A dialogue comes up and says "Scrambled Channel or Weak Signal." It worked before, and I'm not sure why it isn't working anymore? It's the same way for my FOX HD channel. Neither of them work, and I love them both. What do I do? I've read the manual, and there isn't much on the subject. Should I contact my TV Service provider, Comcast? Is it their fault or is it my television?

Thanks!!! And hurry... Gone With The Wind comes on tomorrow at 8.

If you are using HDMI, that could be the problem and you might try component (red/green/blue) cables instead. Motorola cable boxes and Samsung tvs often have handshake problems. Also, replug the HDMI cord on both ends if that's what you are using.

And also try unplugging the cable box for a few minutes, plug it back in and it will reboot. Sometimes that brings things back to normal.

Otherwise, definately call Comcast as they may need to do a reset at their end, or your cable box may be defective and need replacing.

Contact Comcast. In your home, your cable signal may be weak. A technician can check your cable line for leaks or add a cable amplifier to give you a stronger signal.
