im looking to buy a 40 or 46 inch tv for my room and i was just wondering if there is a big difference between the 60 hz and 120 hz for xbox/ps3. Will the screen be jittery with the 60 hz? whats your suggestions? thanks

Buy the 60hz and not the 120hz UNLESS it has a good review from a gaming web site. Why? 120Hz translates into video processing which slows down game response time (the time you hit a button on the controller and the time the action actually happens on screen).

120Hz: Good for gaming, or no?

I would suggest to get a TV with 1080p and 120Hz refresh rate for better gaming experience.

On LCD and LED TV's, the refresh rate may not help much on gaming. They have a slow response time. You may still get a lag or blur on gaming. Only plasma has a very fast response time, and will give you no blur or lag...
