How to switch on tv (standby mode) without remote control?

Hi,

I just bought a tv without a remote.
It could switch on and off.

Today the tv went into standby mode automatically.

I have to tried with universal remote control to solve the problem. No success.

Is there any way to switch it on to normal mode without remote?

Please help.

Try the on/off button

Try the ch +/- button

Try the volume button



either one of those should take it out of standby. If not, unplug it and then plug it back!

On most TV's you can exit standby by pressing the programme +/- buttons on the TV unit itself, as well as with the power button on the remote.



If that fails, press the main power button on the TV (to power off from standby completely), unplug from the mains for a couple of minutes, then power back up again. After a complete disconnect you may find that the standby is cleared (assuming your TV uses soft-standby rather than a switch mechanism).

My remote was doing that, i could turn it on by pushing two buttons on the tv at once, also turn the tv off at the wall leave for an hour then turn on and try it with the remote.
