I have a Bush TV. The TV can only be switched on/operated by the remote control. However, the remote control is now broken. I am thinking of buying an One for All TV remote, but need to know if the setup involves programming/accessing menus on the TV (which I can't do) OR is the set up of one of these universal remote controls simple and does it just involve putting a code into the new remote? If it involves more than this I think I might just have to buy a new TV!
Any help/recommendations would be much appreciated

Only the remote control has to be set when using the universal remote controls. You just set the code that is recommended by the manufacturer to read the controls according to the brand of your TV. When buying the remote, just make sure that your TV brand and model are included in the list that comes with the remote.

Most all in ones just use codes to enter on the remote.

Some are even learning remotes that you point your remote at this one and it learns the ir code (for things like a ceiling fan or a rare brand tv).
