I'm looking to buy a new TV and came across one on www.tesco.com which said that for the feature listed as 'Built-in Freeview' it gave the response as 'Player'. Other TVs on the website just have yes as the answer as yes.

So what exactly is does it mean when it says 'player' for built-in Freeview?

Here is a link to the web-page containing the TV in question: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-7084.aspx

Some TV have a Freeview tuner built in which basically means you can received free to air (FTA) digital tv direct through the set without the need for a seperate decoder box.

Hope this helps

problem is with your surround, not the tv. since your ipod does not play either the surround system is whacked out. maybe the input board on the surround is shorted. try unplugging the surround from the ac outlet and let it sit for like 15 minutes. plug back in and see what happens. if it is still under warranty...take in for service

I think its a mistake . They mean it can play some Mpegs and Jpegs via a USB socket . it has no vcr or dvd player.
