Question:
Will the Standard Definition picture quality be better on Freesat than on Terrestial Freeview?

The reason I am asking is currently I have a 28" 4:3 CRT which if fine for most freeview channels but some seem to be "blocky" or "pixelated" like they are not transmitting enough data to get a good picture.
I want to upgrade my set to a 42" plasma but I am being put off by the poor picture quality on some channels as mentioned above, knowing the larger screen will only make the problem worse.
Will upgrading to Freesat help ie. are the channels transmitted at a better quality than on Freeview or am I wasting my money?

Yes, if you currently use a ariel as FreeSat uses a dish. I have FreeSat HD which is great! The blocks you are getting is through poor signal strength!

Yes it should do because you are receiving the signals from the satellite rather than a terrestial aerial
