i have an older sanyo tv no remote how do you change to input one?

there is no input button on the tv itself the channel up and down doesn't do it the menu has the options
audio
picture/ sound
channel search
channel scan memory
menu language

i tried doing a search nothing and a history same results...

the remote that came with the tv is sanyo fxvf and no longer works... i have also gone threw a universal remote i just want to be able to watch something it is stuck on white noise at the moment
please help can't afford to keep replacing remotes

You need a replacement universal remote that has an input button. Not all do, so make sure you pick one out that does. I've had very good luck with the basic GE and RCA remotes as far as function for the money. Just take your time reading the setup and try all codes for Sanyo.



Then file the instructions away in a safe place. You'd be amazed at the number of questions asking for codes here as the person tossed or lost the instructions for their remote!
