ive messed up my HD picture on my tv. the picture shows up to big on the screen. messed with aspect ratio no?

messed up TV picture and im too stupid to fix it myslef so I need your help.

the other day my gf said she did "something" and now the picture on the TV is goofy. ON the HD chans the picture is too big for the tv. Like the History chan logo is half on screen.

Ive messed with the aspect ratio on the TV remote.

ive messed with some of the set up things on the Dish remote. Its set for 720P ect...

any help?

it has three aspect ratios to chose from (4X3 #1, 4X3 #2, and 16X9) but none of them make it better, though some make it worse.

Stop playing with the aspect ratios and start looking for the zoom controls. There should be one on the Dish remote. If you cannot get things back to where they should be unplug the Dish box and let it set for 5 minutes then try it again. BTW 16X9 is correct for an HD set.

Mine in basic terms started doing this too, I rather have tried each and every of the buttons on the Menu to help with this issue, we've Comcast cable so i'm thinking it isn't the Cable field issue because of the fact we've a Vizio in the mattress room that's hooked as much as cable and does not have this issue.

Set your dish to Fullscreen, and your set to 16x9, or 16x9 expanded. You don't want to have it zoomed.
