It tends to vary. Right now we are in re-run time so my TV watching is less. It will increase when the Fall season starts.
My wife is into Triathalons so she is recording and watching a lot of Cycling - 2-3 hours a night but this will stop when the season ends.
You might want to search for "Nielson Three Screen Report" as this company is the definitive organization that tracks hours, channels, age, sitting with a laptop on your lap, streaming, etc.

Simpsons/Bobs Burgers - Me
Note: We use DVR's so everything is recorded and waits until we have time to sit down and see things. Some times - 2-3 weeks of some shows pile up until I have time to watch.

The tv is on all day....it helps drown out my tinnitus. I actually watch the morning and evening news and The Big Bang Theory. Football season is starting so we'll be watching a good bit of that. We like a number of the programs on Nova and Discovery.

I don't have cable so I can't "watch TV" but occasionally watch a video.
