I live in a region where everything has gone Digital. %No more analog TV signals are sent around my region.
Rather than $pend money to buy a Digital Converter to run on my analog television, or again $pend money for a Cable TV connection, I am trying any way possible to continue watching outdated TV signals.

Is "Free" broadcast TV still Free?

All tv today are digital. If you have an older tv then you need a convertor box to turn the digital signal back to analog. There are some tv station that still broadcast over the air waves, but the signal is digital. You will need an outside antenna to be able to receive those channels. Cheak your local area and see what stations are still available over the air waves. Hope this will help you out.

Sounds like you have an old analog TV that you want to keep using, and for free. Without buying something new, your only option (assuming you're in the U.S.) is a VCR or an old DVD player.

But you can get going with over-the-air digital channels really cheap. A converter can be had for as little as $30 or so, and I assume you already have an antenna that worked on the analog channels prior to June 2009 when they all changed in the U.S. If it's still in good condition, that antenna may do the job -- you won't know until you try.

Well, 5 years ago they were giving away free coupons for the digital converters. I don't think they're doing that anymore, so while it was free for a while, looks like you missed the boat.

EDIT: Apparently they gave out 64 million coupons for converter boxes. Wow.
