Hey, So I have a Samsung 46 Inch LCD TV, what the problem is, is that there is this black vertical line on the screen. All I've done so far is that, I took the back part of it off and made sure there wasn't any loose connections. Any help would be great Thanks. (Check the link to see the exact picture)

The TV Panel or screen is basically divided up and the screen has several wires that connect up to it.The TV may have a soldered in or glued on ribbon or several ribbons these ribbons are actually several different connections on them and some might consider these wires. Now even though you may see one soldering or glued connection on the screen ribbons the ribbon may have a few layers to it means that the one soldering/glued junction point could be connected to 2-3 parts of the screen/panel.
If you look at the TV you will see that the TV has a trim or panel, plus a basic frame and the screen/panel will have a set of wire ribbons that run to and connect to a circuit board. If you know how to re-seat the ribbons you can try to re-seat them. What I 'd is use some rubbing alcohol and a tooth brush and gently clean the copper connections at both ends of the ribbons.Note you can also clean the sockets that the ribbons clip onto to but of course you don't want the TV plugged in and you want to apply the rubbing alcohol to the brush before attempting to clean these connections and connectors. Then after 20 mins or so they should be dry for sure so you can re-seat the ribbons and clip lock them in.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way it's probably a ribbon connection and the panel's ribbon connection maybe water logged or not fixable. If you can carefully take the TV right apart you might be able to find out exactly what part of the ribbon connections is causing the issue.Try tapping on the area by the ribbons and you might just see the TV's picture suddenly get better etc.Note if it's in fact a panel ribbon connection/connections there are some ways to temporary repair it that might work.
