I just made the switch from DirecTV to my local cable to save money on the Triple Play. I am very disappointed with the quality of the HD channels as it seems to have quite a bit of pixelation and is not as clear and crisp as my Mother's TV in her house. I know it's not the TV settings for my PS3 is hooked up via HDMI (so is cable) and is crystal clear and as crisp as can be. Do you think this is a signal/installation issue?

Most likely the signal. I have DirecTV and I still get pixelation even though my signal is pretty decent. I don't get it on Blu-ray content. I think it's the compression/decompression mechanism of the cable/satellite converter that sucks.

Pixellation will result from a weak signal. Call the cable company and complain. There may be a wiring defect. They should send a tech out to look at it.

it seems so. ive experienced the same....does your cable tv lines in the wall say "rg59" on them...if so.. that could be the issue
