There are no best answer to your question. This wwill depend on the person that will be watching the tv. You could purchase a disc to clibrate the picture of your tv. This will also depend on the source of video you are feeding the tv. Keep in mind that there are many source for a 4K video at this time. TV program are in 720P and blu ray movies are 1080P while DVD are at 480P. Some cable or disc network provider will up convert the signal to 1080P. Bottom line is, you are the one going to be watching your tv, so go with what looks good to you. Hope this will help you out.

Generally, whatever looks best to your eyes is the best setting.

Modern TVs aren't as finicky as older sets were, and many include automatic settings to adjust based on the brightness in the room - which is nice when the TV is in the family room where the amount of light will vary dramatically based on the time of day.

If you're really interested in adjusting your TV, get one of those home theater calibration DVDs or blu-rays. These contain a series of tests as well as an explanation of how to use them to adjust your TV.

However when I bought my new TV a few months ago, and went through the calibration exercise, I found simply putting the TV on its "Movie" setting was practically identical to the individual settings I had chosen.

To be honest, the best picture settings would be to turn the TV off. This will likely be the last year that curved TVs will be manufactured. It was a complete flop.

All TVs are sufficiently different from each other

that they have to be individually calibrated.

Get a calibration disc (DVD or Blu-Ray, $20 to $50).

Carefully and patiently follow the included instructions to the letter.

It still remains true.
