I'm not referring to the converter box, because I have an HDTV. But what if I get the the best antenna available(which one is recommended? Not outdoor though) and get all the channels I can get (Dallas, TX and county). How many can there be also including all the Sub Channels?

Well I get 32 channels and I'm using the Terk Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. I ordered it from Amazon and I purchased a used one and it was like new and only costs $25. But a new one will run you anywhere from $59 to $62.

You are not going to get that many channels. Just about all the tv broadcast will be going cable or disc network of some kind. They want consumers to pay for getting the program they are playing. In my area only 3 channels are left ABC, CBS and NBC. You'll just have to get a cable or a disc network. It's just one more way for those big companies to take your hard earned cash from your pocket and into there's.

www.antennaweb.org does not list subchannels and I know of no web site that does.

The best indoor antenna is pretty bad, compared to just about any outdoor antenna. Just so you know...
