I have a roof top antenna. I recently bought a DTV when i originally set it up I received all digital channels but after a couple of weeks I started to lose a few. Now after 4 weeks I have none. All come up with "weak or no signal". Any suggestions??

If you had good reception before and nothing has changed (transmitter frequency or channel changes, transmitters off the air or relocated, new building erected next to yours, etc.), then something has failed in your antenna system. Is it pointed in the right direction?

Check your cable connections and fittings in the house, including the connection behind your wall plate if that's what you have. You may need to bring the antenna down and clean and reconnect the downlead cable at the antenna head. Be sure to weatherproof it (electronic stores have the materials).

------------

Per your additional details: since the other TV is fine, whatever problem you have lies between the cable splitter feeding both TVs and the TV in question itself. A signal booster is not likely to be of any help. You have something in a fitting or possibly internal in the TV that's causing you to lose signal.

Can you try this? Swap the two TVs--physically move each to the other's location. Does the good one still look good connected to the other's cable? If yes, your 2nd TV is the culprit. If not, it's the connections or cabling. Good luck.

You have to check all your connections between the antenna and the tv. Something could have degraded and has weaken the signal traveling to your tv. You could try an indoor antenna and see if there is a difference.
