I thought secam, PAL, NTSC are all in Analog TVs and once we are into digital TVs there is no restriction like that. All my friends who migrated back bought Panasonic LED tvs which has 220 V inputs and they are all happy with the purchase. The LED Tvs are much cheaper in US if you can take them in without paying customs duty.

I don't think American TVs will work in India, will they? Not only is the power system different but doesn't India use PAL video while the US uses NTSC? Not compatible. While it is possible to find adapters for both issues, wouldn't it just be easier (and cheaper!) to just buy a TV in India?

USA TVs won't work in India without allot of conversion.

make optimistic that's 220 Volts and 60 hz. it extremely is US that's a hundred and ten Volt 50 hz. For no longer-HD make optimistic that's chum or multysystem. Are you optimistic there is HD transmission in India yet. properly-known transmission seems worst on HDTV (and if television has chum tuner geared up in).

Look for one that directly supports 230V supply, and PAL video signal.

You will need an STB of some sort, as an American tuner is set up for NTSC/ATSC only.

That is unless you have an STB already.
