HD is not something that you install, you just have to connect a source to your set. As the other responder said, either hook up an external antenna (assuming you have Local broadcast station in you area), or contact your cable/satellite provider to upgrade your service to HD.
ITs that simple.

In order to display a high definition picture on your new television you need a high definition video source. This means one of the new HD DVD players (eg. Blu Ray) or a high definition satelite receiver (Dish Network or Bell Express Vu) or high definition cable box (from your cable company). Simply plugging it into your standard cable outlet will not give you the high definition picture that you want.

First, you need an HDMI cable. Then you need a HD source
(i.e. HD cable box, Blu-Ray Disc player or HD DVD player)...
Plug the HDMI cable between the HD source and your HDTV
and you should be on your way. Refer to your TV's owner's
manual for further instructions if it still doesn't work for you...
See the troubleshooting area of the owner's manual.
