I have a Westinghouse HD Video Monitor LVM 37w1 that won't turn on. I tried unplugging the cord then plugging it back in, but that doesn't work. Does anyone know what the problem could be, or where to find any parts that might be needed to fix it?

The problem could be any number of a dozen common problems, especially if you did not sufficently protect the monitor from power hits using a good surge protector.

First try replacing the power cable, probably an IBM-type PC power cable, which can be found for very cheap at any electronics or computer store.

If the set still doesn't work, and it's under warrenty, get it to a service technician.

If it's not under warrenty, you're probably stuck because trying to repair it yourself will be far more expensive than simply replacing it.

Hope this helps, good luck!

If its not under warranty then your screwed. No parts or support is offered with Westinghouse units.

You cannot get parts, you cannot get service information. That company only does exchange basis only, and you have to ship them the unit.

Its cheap for a reason, you will be better off buying a new TV. I would get a Sony. You will not have this problem with Sony products.

Probably a fuse in the TV. First, i would check your fuse box, the one in your garage. Then i would check the outlet to see if that is getting power. Then I would call who ever you need to call to get it fixed or replaced.

and as the others said, these tv's are borderline disposable.
