My technika TV is only showing black and white pictures..help?

I've recently disconnected the sky box (TV was fine with that connected) and the only input is the main aerial and a power source, the aerial works fine as I tested it with a smaller digital tv. Since I have taken the sky box out the loop the picture is B+W only! Ive tried ALL the menu and tried to adjust anything colour or picture related to no avail! I tried attaching the Sky box and all I can get is the 4 basic terrestrial channels as I no longer have a Sky subscription...I cant activate the freeview channels, what is going wrong?

Unplug the tv from the wall for about 10 minutes. While unplugged, remove the aerial connection. Then put it back into the tv before replugging the tv. Try it. Sometimes the reboot resets the tv to the new connection.

The Munsters ... Addams Family ... Bewitched .. I can also remember watching "Star Trek" on the BW TV in the house too. (oh, and I am old enough to remember the tubes .. where if things went out, we'd unscrew the back of the TV and see what tube blew .. and then go to the store to get a replacement tube and put it in ourselves!)
