My Ilo SDTV has a component option on the back of the TV, yet if I hook up anything with component capabilities, it won't work. The screen starts acting up and the picture gets all jumpy. I've tried hooking up an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. Has anyone else had similar problems? This is really annoying as our family likes to play the Wii, but we always have to unhook the cable box to plug in the Wii.

Your Wii might be different than the one I set up recently, but that one only had composite connections (yellow-red-white), not component (blue-green-red video plus red-white audio). If your Wii is the same and you're trying to connect its composite output to a component input, that could be the problem.

in the experience that your 32 inch can do 1080p use the HDMI cable. If it won't be able of, and you have already got the factor cable, do no longer worry approximately it. (only be sure to no longer use the composite cable). - 17R3W
