It's an APEX 32" 720p. Scrolled through the menu and couldn't find anything that looked like it might help if i played with it. At this point, after looking at several forum threads, i feel like all i can do is play with the picture settings. unless a one who reads this has other ideas? thanks for thinking of solutions on my behalf:) have nice day.

You don't fix it. If your TV is anything like the one in the link, that's a really low-end budget TV with the bare-bones minimum specifications. With a 60 Hz refresh rate, you're going to see fast motion blur no matter what you do to the picture controls.

Minimizing motion blur means spending the money for an upscale brand and model with a 120 Hz refresh rate (or more) and a very quick response time, never included with budget TVs. Or, it you're really serious about no motion blur, get a plasma set -- except they don't come in screen sizes that small. Good luck.

There must be something wrong with that particular set. I looked up the specs and reviews on that set and it's 60 mhz which shouldn't give you much blurring effect. Except for remote control, the TV seemed to have good reviews. Personally, I would never buy an Apex TV again. I had a 20" one several years ago and it didn't even last 18 months. No more generic sets for me. I bought a 32" Samsung almost 3 years ago and it's still working great.

Buy a new TV?

LCD panels have motion blur. It is an inherent problem.

To reduce the problem - they created some models with a feature called '120 hz refresh'. This cuts motion blur in half.

There is no setting in the TV that reduces this problem.

Sorry.

There ought to be something incorrect with that distinctive set. I appeared up the specs and comments on that set and that's 60 mhz which shouldn't furnish you with a lot blurring effect. with the exception of distant administration, the television appeared to have reliable comments. for my area, i wouldn't in any respect purchase an Apex television returned. I had a 20" one various years in the past and it did no longer even final 18 months. not greater usual contraptions for me. i offered a 32" Samsung almost 3 years in the past and that's nonetheless working great.
