I need to program my Giant Universal Remote.?

Question

I bought a Giant Universal Remote. And I'm trying to program it to use it with my Symphonic TV. It has a device code search button and says "Code search button discover device codes automatically. Does anyone know how to do this?

Code Search (HARD)

1.Hold Code Search button Down

2.Press and release Device button tv,Vcr,ext....

3.Press on and off button repedatley until device turns on/off

(You may have to do this up to 1,000 times)

4.(Should Work Now)



Manual Entering (EASY)

1.Look in instruction booklett or on back of box for a list of device codes

2.Find your device model code

(possible steps below see instruction booklett for more help)

3.Hold Code search button

4.Enter code with # keys

5.Release Code search button

6.ENJOY!!!!!!! (Should Work Now)

Turn on your TV, Press & hold Code search/setup botton when the indicator light shows, release button. Press and release the button for the device you are programming. Enter your code after your code has been entered the indicator light will turn off. Point your remote to the TV and the press power button. The TV should then switch off. Remote will be functional. Also check your remote manual.

um yea, i think i got the same giant remote.but mines says jumbo...lemme see...first you need to read the istructions....then on the instructions it says TV CODES,because you have a symphonic type on tv, look for where it says symphonic,when you find it, pick up ur remote and press CODE SEARCH and hold it until the little light comes on, after it does press TV, after you press tv, punch in the tv code for symphonic, i got a zenith, theres a few codes on symphonic so i guess you gotta pick the one you want, if that doesnt work just try all three(not at the same time), then try turnin the channel and stuff,see if it works....if it doesnt so sorry dude...but if it does...awsum! email me if you need to know something else
