Do bigger TV's have lower pixel density?

I have read a lot of articles regarding smartphones that talk about pixels per inch and resolution. These articles infer that the bigger the screen the more resolution. For example the iPhone 4s has a 3.5 inch display at 326ppi and a resolution of 960×640, but the iPhone 5 has the same pixel density and a slightly bigger 4" screen and the resolution was bumped up to 1136 x 640.

So if all True HDTV's have a resolution of 1920×1080p, than does that mean that bigger TV's have less PPI than smaller TV'S.

does a 50" 1920×1080p have less ppi than a 42" 1920×1080p.

on large screen tv the dimensions of a pixel is big.....

on any size tv...1920x1080 means 1920 pixels in a line and 1080 number of lines .

code p and i represents sweeping mode ..... line by line or every other line .

Yes, bigger 1080p screens have less pixel density than smaller 1080p screens.

You are confusing pixel count and lines of resolution.
